Preliminary Procedures

1. Partially drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System, Draining and Filling (GE 47716) Cooling System, Draining and Filling (Static Fill LAU) Cooling System, Draining and Filling (Static Fill LF1) .

2. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .


1 Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Clamp (Qty: 2)

Procedure

Disengage tension on the radiator surge tank inlet hose clamps using BO-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers.
