Preliminary Procedures

1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System, Draining and Filling (GE 47716) Cooling System, Draining and Filling (Static Fill LAU) Cooling System, Draining and Filling (Static Fill LF1) .

2. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement

3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .


1 Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Hose Clamp (Qty: 2)

Procedure

Disengage tension on the radiator surge tank outlet hose clamps using BO-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers.
