| Removal Procedure |
| 1. |
Drain the fuel tank if necessary. Refer to
Fuel Tank Draining
|
|
| 2. |
Remove the housing fasteners (1).
|
|
| 3. |
Remove the right rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to
Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement
.
|
|
| 4. |
Disconnect the evaporative emission line (1). Refer to
Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
.
|
|
| 5. |
Remove the lower filler tube fastener (3).
|
|
| 6. |
Loosen the filler pipe hose clamp (2) and disconnect the hose.
|
|
| 7. |
Remove the upper filler tube fastener (3).
|
|
| 8. |
Remove the filler pipe (4).
|
|
| Installation Procedure |
| 1. |
Refer to
Fastener Caution
.
Position the filler pipe (4) in place and hand tighten the center nut (3).
|
|
| 2. |
Install the filler pipe hose and tighten the clamp (2) to
5 Nm (44 lb in).
|
|
| 3. |
Start and hand tighten the lower filler pipe fastener (3).
|
|
| 4. |
Connect the evaporative emission line (1). Refer to
Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
.
|
|
| 5. |
Tighten the fasteners (3) to
10 Nm(89 lb in)
.
|
|
| 6. |
Install the housing's fastener (1) and tighten to
10 Nm (89 lb in)
.
|
|
| 7. |
Install the right rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to
Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement
.
