Front Side Door Lock Cover Replacement

Place the window in the full up position.
|
|
3.
|
Remove the front side door water deflector.
|
|
4.
|
Remove the wiring harness from the retainers (1).
|
|
5.
|
Disconnect the electrical connector (2).
|
|
6.
|
Remove the screw cover (3).
|
|
7.
|
Remove the screws (4) from the outer edge of the door and from the inside.
|
|
8.
|
Remove the front side door lock cover (5) from inside the door.
|
|
1.
|
Install the front side door lock cover (5) to cover the lock.
|
|
2.
|
Refer to
Fastener Caution
.
Install the screws (4) to the outer edge of the door and to the inside and tighten to
5 Nm (44 lb in)
.

|
3.
|
Install the screw cover (3).
|
|
4.
|
Connect the electrical connector (2).
|
|
5.
|
Install the wiring harness to the retainers (1).
|
|
6.
|
Inspect the door locking system for proper operation before installing the trim panel.
|
|
7.
|
Install the front side door water deflector.
|
