Slide the mirror cover apart to expose the electrical connector.

Procedure
|
1.
|
Disconnect the electrical connector.
|
|
2.
|
Adjust the mirror to the full upward position.
|
|
3.
|
Loosen the set screw located at the base of the mirror.
|
|
4.
|
Slide the mirror upward off of the rearview mirror button.
|
|
5.
|
Remove the windshield outside moisture sensor, if equipped.
|
Tighten
2 Nm (18 lb in)
|
