To remove



1. Remove the sun visors and their mountings.

Mirror light:

Unplug the vanity mirror light connector.

2. Remove the roof console by carefully prising up the front edge of the light lens with a screwdriver inserted in the clip recesses.

Note

Exercise care, as the light lens could crack if incorrectly removed.

Take care not to scratch the cover.


When the light lens has been removed, unscrew the roof console retaining screws.

3. Remove the interior rear-view mirror, 3 screws.

4. Remove the A-pillar trim (fastened with clips).

5. Remove all courtesy handles above the doors.

6. Cars with sunroof:


Remove the clips at the rear of the sunroof (3 pcs.) by carefully pressing from the rear with one finger.

7. Remove the B-pillar trim on the passenger side (fastened with clips).


Lift the pillar trim out of the air duct and place it to one side.

8. Remove the rear roof covering, clips.


Unplug the connectors for the glass breakage sensor and luggage compartment light.

9. Detach the D pillar trim.

10. Remove the roof coverings between the C and D pillars.

11. Detach the top of the C-pillar trim (fastened with clips).

12. Remove the cargo safety net mountings, remove the covers and undo the clips.

13. Undo the 2 clips securing the rear edge of the headlining by turning them through 90° and pulling them down.

14. Carefully pull the headlining away from the door sealing mouldings on the passenger side. Then pull the headlining away from the door sealing mouldings and B pillar trim on the driver side.

15. Cars with sunroof:

Detach the headlining from the hooks by the sunroof.

16. Unplug the connector on the upper surface of the headlining.


17. Lift the headlining out through the luggage compartment opening.

When replacing the headlining, the rear roof light and wiring harness should be removed.


To fit



1. When changing the headlining, the rear lighting and cable assembly must be fitted.

2. Lift the headlining into the car through the luggage compartment opening.

3. Position the headlining above the driver side's B pillar and door weather seals.

4. Position the headlining in front of the roof console.

5. Reconnect the connector on the top of the headlining.

6.

Hook the headlining onto the hooks beside the sunroof.

7. Position the headlining against the passenger side door sealing mouldings.

8. Fit the 2 clips securing the rear edge of the headlining.


9. Fit the trim on the D pillars.

10. Plug in the connector for the luggage compartment light and glass breakage sensor. The wiring for the lighting should be inserted through the screen.

Press the rear roof covering into place.

11. Secure the cargo safety net mountings and press the covers into place.

12. Press the trim into place on the C pillars.

13. Fit the roof coverings between the C and D pillars.

14. Press the B pillar trim into place on the passenger side.


15. Cars with sunroof:


Secure the clips to the rear edge of the sunroof.

16. Fit all courtesy handles above the doors.


17. Fit the trim on the A pillars.

18. Fit the interior rear-view mirror, 3 screws.

19. Fit the roof console, 1 screw, and carefully press the light lens into place.

20. Plug in the connector for the mirror lighting in the sun visors.

21. Fit the sun visor mountings and sun visors.


PRE-RELEASE
