Diagnostic procedure
1. Check combustion air fan motor

Remove the parking heater.

Remove the cover over the combustion air fan.
|
|
| • |
Remove the parking heater control module.
|
|
| • |
Clean the fan motor. Check for excessive bearing play.
|
|
| • |
Check that the fan wheel spins freely and easily.
|
|
Test results OK?
| YES |

Check connectors for corrosion.

Go to point 2.
| NO |

Change the fan motor.

Go to point 2.
2. Final check
| • |
Delete DTCs in all systems.
|

| • |
Contact: SID.
|
|
| • |
Activate parking heater (ON).
|
|
| • |
Perform a functionality check.
|
|
| • |
Evaluate the functionality check.
|
|
| • |
Check that the diagnostic trouble code has not recurred.

Test results OK?
