Diagnostic procedure
1. Check wiring

Remove the ACC/MCC panel.

| • |
Connect test lamp 86 11 857 to pin 3 of the ACC/MCC and a good grounding point.
|
|
| • |
Contact: SID.
|
|
| • |
Activate parking heater (ON).
|
|
| • |
The lamp should come on.
|
|
Test results OK?
| YES |

See the ACC/MCC service manual for further fault diagnosis procedures.

Go to point 2.
| NO |

Connect the Eberspächer diagnostics instrument.

Activate the Eberspächer diagnostics instrument (D).

Make a note of all diagnostic trouble codes.

Deal with the diagnostic trouble codes generated as described in the diagnostic procedure for each of them.

Go to point 2.
2. Final check

Delete DTCs in all systems.

Activate parking heater (ON).

Perform a functionality check.
|

Evaluate the functionality check.

Check that the diagnostic trouble code has not recurred.
