Connect the diagnostics instrument as follows:

Pushbutton functions:

L = clear diagnostic trouble codes/cancel operating block (push both buttons simultaneously)
|
|
•
|
> = step upwards through stored diagnostic trouble codes (F1-F5)
|
|
•
|
< = step downwards through stored diagnostic trouble codes (F5-F1)
|
Display indications
AF = Relevant diagnostic trouble code
F1-F5 = Stored diagnostic trouble codes

Diagnostics instrument connected. Heater not activated.

Diagnosis in progress.

4.
|
The relevant diagnostic trouble code will be displayed after about 4 seconds.
