Loosen the expansion tank cap to release any overpressure. Screw on again.
|

Remove the intake manifold between the mass air flow sensor and the turbo.
|
|
3.
|
Remove the engine cover.
|
|
4.
|
Remove the upper turbo pressure hose.
|
|
6.
|
Remove the sensor and fit the new one quickly to avoid coolant spill.

Plug in the connector.
|

2.
|
Connect the turbo pressure hose to the upper intake manifold (make sure the sensor wiring does not get pinched).
|
|
4.
|
Fit the intake manifold to the mass air flow sensor and the turbo.
Tightening torque, mass air flow sensor: 3.5 Nm (2.5 lbf ft)

|
5.
|
If needed, fill with Saab original coolant, part no. 400 131 389 (1 litre), 400 131 397 (4 litres).
