This NTC sensor is mounted in the fuel line on the engine and is supplied with power via a 1 kOhm resistor. The sensor detects the temperature of the fuel, which enables ECM to correct for changes in fuel density and add or subtract depending on the temperature.
| Diagnostics |
If the temperature sensor input is short-circuited to ground, DTC P0182 will be generated.
If the temperature sensor input is short-circuited to B+ or if there is a break in the circuit, DTC P0183 will be generated.

As soon as the control module detects the fault, a substitute value of 25°C is used.
