Raise the car.

Mark the underside of the exhaust pipe 95 mm from the joint where it is welded to the rear silencer.

| 3. |
Cut the exhaust pipe at right angles.
|
|
| 4. |
Remove the silencer.
|
|
| 5. |
Clean the cut to remove burrs and dirt.
|

| To fit |
| 1. |
Fit the new silencer and adjust it so that it hangs straight.
|
|
| 2. |
Variants with visible tail pipe: Check that the tailpipe is centred in the cut-out in the bumper and that it is in line with the bumper profile.

| 3. |
Tighten the nuts on the clamps.
Tightening torque 70 Nm (52 lbf ft) |
