Remove the upper engine cover.

Unplug the EGR valve connector.
|
|
| 3. |
Remove the oil filter housing cover and take out the oil filter. Collect any spilled oil with a rag or similar.

| To fit |
| 1. |
Change O-rings.
|
|
| 2. |
Fit a new oil filter and tighten the oil filter housing cover.
Tightening torque: 26 Nm (19 lbf ft). |

| 3. |
Plug in the EGR valve connector.
|
|
| 4. |
Fill with engine oil as specified, see
Lubricants
.

| 5. |
Start the engine and allow it to run until the oil pressure warning lamp has gone out.
|
|
| 6. |
Stop the engine and check the oil level after 2 - 5 minutes. Top up as necessary.
