Remove the edging around the indication display.
Remove the upper part of the centre console, see group 8, Body, Climate control system, Interior equipment. |

Snip the cable tie.

| 3. |
Press the WINTER-button out of the indication display.
|
|
| 4. |
Move the protective casing from the soldering joint on the middle lead and unsolder to remove the leads.

| Fitting |
| 1. |
Fasten the leads by soldering and enter the protective casing over the soldered joint.
|
|
| 2. |
Press the WINTER-button onto the indication display.
|
|
| 3. |
Fit a new cable tie through the hole in the selector lever housing and round the leads.
|

| 4. |
Fit the upper part of the centre console, see group 8 Body, Climate control system, Interior equipment.
Fit the edging around the indication display. |
