The level sensor consists of a magnetic float arm and a sensor mounted in the washer fluid reservoir.
SID supplies B+ to the level sensor via pin 27 and the sensor is grounded to grounding point G30. If the level is low, the level sensor switch closes and pin 27 of the SID unit is grounded. At normal level, the level sensor switch is open and the circuit to ground broken.
The function gives the CHECK message on the SID display (70 second delay).
