| SPS programming |
Connect Tech 2 and use TIS 2000 to check whether the control module requires programming. Go to the "SPS" menu and select "Read ECU data". Follow the instructions. The control module should be programmed with the latest available software and be adapted to the vehicle variant and market.
| Spare parts programming |
Once the control module has been fitted, and in some cases has been SPS programmed, Tech 2 is used to perform spare parts programming. The ignition must be in the ON position. Immobilizer programming must be performed for control modules providing immobilization (all ECM, MIU and TWICE).
The following occurs with regard to data:
Characteristics files are downloaded, security codes are loaded, bus lists are updated, data in other control modules is updated and DTCs are deleted from all control modules.
