Remove the inner handle and the trim on the inside of the tailgate.
US/CA cars: Push the emergency opening handle through the hole in the trim. |

Undo the three screws holding the lock.
|
|
| 3. |
Turn the clip securing the locking rod for the lock motor driver and detach the locking rod.
|
|
| 4. |
Remove the locking rod and the lock.
|
|
| 5. |
Transfer the locking rod to the new lock.

|
| To fit |
| 1. |
Position the lock and locking rod.
|
|
| 2. |
Fit the clip securing the locking rod for the lock motor driver.
|
|
| 3. |
Screw on the lock.

Fit the trim and inner handle on the inside of the tailgate.
|
|
