Designed for petrol-engined vehicles, the parking heater connects to the vehicle's cooling, fuel and electrical systems.
The engine coolant is circulated through it by a water pump and the heated coolant then goes to the cabin heat exchanger and back to the engine. In other words, the car interior is heated via the car's regular heating system.
The heater is normally used as a parking heater and started by the integrated SID timer.
