CD player/CD changer/MP3 player

In the head unit there is either a CD player or a CD changer installed.

CD Player


The CD player is front-loading. The disc drawer accepts one compact disc.

The CD player is activated either by loading a disc in the disc drawer or by pressing the CD AUX button if a disc has already been loaded.

When all tracks have been played the disc will play again from the beginning. The CD player is switched off either by selecting another audio source or by pressing the ON/OFF button to shut down the audio system.

The CD is unloaded by pressing the EJECT button. If the ejected disc is not removed, the player will, for safety reasons, re-load the disc after 10 s.

CD changer


The CD changer is front-loading. The disc magazine accommodates six CD discs.

The CD changer is activated either by loading one or more CD/MP3 discs in the disc magazine or by the CD AUX button if a disc is already loaded. In order to load a disc push the LOAD button and follow the instructions on the display.

When all tracks have been played the CD will play again from the beginning. The CD changer is switched off either by selecting another audio source or by pressing the ON/OFF button to shut down the audio system.

The CD is unloaded by pressing the EJECT button. If the ejected disc is not removed, the player will, for safety reasons, re-load the disc after 10 s.

MP3 player

The audio system can play MP3 files that have been recorded on a compact disc with a bit speed of 32 - 320 kbps. The sound quality can vary depending on the quality of the recording disc, the recording method or the quality of the recorded music. The audio system can read and play a maximum of 50 MP3 folders, 50 play lists, 10 sessions and 255 MP3 files. Discs that contain more folders, play lists sessions and files will be played up to the maximum limit but everything over the limit will be ignored.

The MP3 player is activated either by loading a CD-R disc with MP3 files in the disc drawer or by pressing the CD AUX button if a disc with MP3 files has already been loaded.

The MP3 player is switched off either by selecting another audio source or by pressing the ON/OFF button to shut down the audio system.

The MP3 disc is unloaded by pressing the EJECT button. If the ejected disc is not removed, the player will, for safety reasons, re-load the disc after 10 s.
