Read the unfiltered value for the outside temperature.

Outdoor Temperature, Filtered

°C/°F

-40

50

The SID unit's internal filtered value for outside temperature. Filtering takes place as follows:

+1°C change every 6 minutes at speeds below 30 km/h.

+1°C change every 30 seconds at speeds above 30 km/h.

-1°C change every 2.5 seconds.

Rheostat Sensor

Volt

0

5.00

Voltage across the resistor in the rheostat. The voltage changes linearly from 0 V (max. rheostat level) to approx. 3.5 V (min. rheostat level).

Rheostat, Filtered

%

0

100

Rheostat value, converted internally into %

When the headlamp switch is OFF and fuse 35 removed, the rheostat level is 0%.

When the interior lighting exceeds a certain level, the rheostat level is 0%.

When the headlamp switch is ON, the rheostat level can be adjusted between 25 and 99%.

Rheostat Night Panel, Filtered

%

0

100

Rheostat value, converted internally into %, reduced by a fixed value.

LCD Dimmer Value, Filtered

%

0

100

Lighting value for display converted internally into %. The value is calculated from the rheostat level and the level of the light intensity in the car.

Indoor Light Sensor

%

0

100

Value from light sensor for interior light intensity in %.

Indoor Light Intensity, Filtered

Lux

0

2000

The SID unit's internal filtered value for interior light intensity.

Steering Wheel Control

Volt

0

5.00

The steering wheel keypad consists of 9 resistors connected in series which are supplied +5 V from SID.

When a button is pressed, the resistor concerned is grounded, giving the relevant voltage. See for voltage values.

For cars without steering wheel controls, the voltage value applies only to the horn button.
