Warning and information labels
|
The car is equipped with a number of warning labels and warning texts which indicate that the car is equipped with airbags and belt tensioners. This information should be respected with personal safety in mind.

1.

The letters ”Airbag” are inscribed into the steering wheel.
|
|
2.
|
A warning label is located on the contact roller.
|
|
3.
|
A “child seat forbidden“ symbol is located on the passenger side end face, applicable to vehicles equipped with passenger airbag.
|
|
4.
|
A ”child seat forbidden” symbol is located on the dashboard to the left of the glove box. The label is fitted by the dealer (applies to cars with airbag on the passenger side, SE and FI).

|
A warning label is located on the front of the driver's airbag.
|
|
6.
|
A warning label is located on the rear of the passenger airbag.
|
|
7.
|
On cars with passenger airbag the letters ”SRS Airbag” are inscribed into the dashboard adjacent to the airbag.

8.
|
An ”SRS Airbag” symbol is located in the lower left-hand corner of the windscreen. In the event of an accident the symbol advises recovery personnel that the car is equipped with airbags.

A warning label is located on the belt tensioner's aluminium tube.
|
|
10.
|
Warning texts are located on the rear of the sun visors (applies only to US and CA specified cars, bilingual for CA).

A warning label is located on the sun visors (only applies to US/CA, bilingual for CA).

12.
|
A warning label is located on the rear of the side airbags.
|
|
13.
|
An advisory text regarding the side impact sensor is located on the water cover for the front doors.
|

14.
|
There is an advisory text regarding the side airbags located on the seat cowls for the front seats.
|
|
15.
|
A warning label is located on the top of the SRS control module.
|
|
16.
|
For the US/CA markets there is a warning text hanging on the centre air distributor (bilingual for CA). This may only be removed by the customer.
