Put the air-mix control to max cold or max heat before commencing removal.

LHD:
Remove the bottom of the panel (3 screws) (A) and detach the diagnostics socket (2 screws) and the floor lighting (B).
RHD: Remove the glove box and centre console (A). See Glove box .

Uncouple the stepping motor connection (C).

Remove the stepping motor (D), 2 screws.

| To fit |
| 1. |
Fit the stepping motor (D), 2 screws.
|
|
| 2. |
Couple in the stepping motor connection (C).
|
|
| 3. |
LHD:
Fit the diagnostics socket (2 screws) and floor lighting (B).

| 4. |
LHD:
Fit the lower part of the panel (3 screws) (A).
RHD: Fit the glove box and centre console (A). See Glove box .
