Helicoil threads can come loose or get destroyed during an oil change if they have been tightened with excessive torque.

The following conditions apply for this fault symptom:

Can happen during service or during draining of oil

Diagnostic procedure
|
1.

Do NOT replace the oil sump, rather install new Helicoil threads and a new oil plug.
Tightening torque, oil plug 25 Nm (19 lbf ft)
