| To remove |
| 1. |
Loosen the coolant expansion tank cap to release any pressure. Then tighten the cap.

| 2. |
Remove the cable tie. Remove the hose clips from the coolant hoses.
|
|
| 3. |
Clamp the hoses using
30 07 739 Hose pinch-off pliers
and detach the hoses from the heater.
|
|
| 4. |
Detach the fuel hose from the heater.
|
|
| 5. |
Remove the connector clips. Unplug the connector.
|
|
| 6. |
Undo the exhaust pipe clamp.
|
|
| 7. |
Remvoe the exhaust pipe mounting from the bulkhead.
|
|
| 8. |
Remove the exhaust pipe from the heater.
|
|
| 9. |
Remove the mounting and remove the heater from the bracket.
|
|
| To fit |
| 1. |
Fit the heater to the bracket. Fit the mounting.
|
|
| 2. |
Fit the exhaust pipe to the heater.
|
|
| 3. |
Fit the exhaust pipe mounting to the bulkhead.
|
|
| 4. |
Tighten the exhaust pipe clamp.
|
|
| 5. |
Plug in the connector. Fit the connector clips.
|
|
| 6. |
Attach the fuel hose to the heater.
|
|
| 7. |
Attach the hoses to the heater. Remove
30 07 739 Hose pinch-off pliers

| 8. |
Fit the hose clips to the coolant hoses.
|
|
| 9. |
Fit the cable tie.
|
|
| 10. |
Pressure test the cooling system. See
Cooling system, pressure testing
.

Check the heater functions.
|
|
| 12. |
Fill with coolant to the correct level.
|
