Symptom: Error message “PARKING ASSIST FAILURE” shown on the SID when reverse is selected.
The SPA stops measurement and acoustic signals are given by the SID when the SPA shuts down.

Condition
The following conditions apply for the diagnostic trouble code in question:

Ignition switch in ON position
|

|
The sensor power supply is below approx. 4 V.
