Remove linkage, VIN 43501883 -
|
|
2.
|
Prise out the seal using a narrow screwdriver.
|
Important
|
|
Do not damage the sealing surface on the selector rod.
|
|
|
|
|
1.
|
Clean the selector rod and check that it has no burrs.
|
|
2.
|
Wind a layer of thin, smooth plastic tape around the selector rod as illustrated (A).
|
|
3.
|
Lubricate the gear selector rod and fit the seal. Remove the tape and tap in the seal using
87 90 685 Fitting tool
(B).

|
Fit linkage, VIN 43501883 -
