Remove the door trim.

Remove the water separator using
82 93 474 Removal tool

| 3. |
Remove the three screws holding the lock unit.
|
|
| 4. |
Detach the wire to the interior door handle.
|
|
| 5. |
Pull down the lock unit slightly to detach the pushrod.
|
|
| 6. |
Lift out the lock unit and unplug the connector.
|
|
| 7. |
Detach the wires for the door handle and locking rod from the lock unit.

| To fit |
| 1. |
Attach the wire for the door handle and the locking rod to the lock unit
|
|
| 2. |
Plug in the connector.
|
|
| 3. |
Fit the lock unit in place and guide the pushrod between the outer door handle and the lock unit.
|
|
| 4. |
Attach the wire for the interior door handle.
|
|
| 5. |
Screw on the lock unit.
|
|
| 6. |
Refit the water separator, door trim and cover around the window frame.
|
