| Removing |

Remove the bolts in the wheel housing. Pull out the bumper clips from the wheel housing edges and the rear wing.

Open the tailgate.
|

| 3. |
Remove the storage compartments and their covers on both sides.
|
|
| 4. |
Remove the insulation pads. The old ones must be discarded and replaced by new ones.
|
|
| 5. |
Remove the nuts holding the bumper. The lower bolts only have nuts if the car is equipped with a towbar.

| 6. |
Lift away the bumper rearward with the help of an assistant.

For cars equipped with Saab Parking Assistance (SPA): |

Attach the connectors.

Put the bumper in position.
|
|
| 2. |
Press in the bumper shell over the wheel housing edge and the rear wing. Make sure the clips are correctly positioned. Fit the bolts in the wheel housing edge.

| 3. |
Tighten the nuts holding the bumper.
|
|
| 4. |
Fit the new insulation pads.
|
|
| 5. |
Fit the storage compartments and their covers on both sides.
|

| 6. |
Close the tailgate and check the fit of the bumper against the tailgate.
