start the fault diagnostic procedure.
Symptom: Memory setting does not work.
B2126 Right Horizontal Potentiometer. Short to B+
B2126 Right Horizontal Potentiometer. Open Circuit / Short to Ground
B2127 Right Vertical Potentiometer. Short to B+
B2127 Right Vertical Potentiometer. Open Circuit / Short to Ground.
Fault symptoms
Memory setting does not work.
Condition
Open circuit/shorting to ground. Short-circuit to B+.
Check the wiring
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short-circuits in the leads. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool during the test.
Diagnostic help
A reading of the voltage across the potentiometers can be obtained with the diagnostic tool.
