Removed gearbox

Undo the five bolts on the seal retainer and remove the seal retainer. Keep shims, bolts and the seal retainer in a safe place.

Detach the O-ring with a small screwdriver or similar.
|
|

Press on the seal ring with drift 87 92 657
until it stops. Use tool 87 92 236
as support.

|
2.
|
Lubricate a new O-ring and carefully fit it.
|
|
3.
|
Fit the seal retainer and shims with the bolts. Tighten alternately.
Tightening torque 22 Nm (16 lbf ft)
