| Work on cars equipped with airbag |
All the Saab 9-5 model cars are fitted with an airbag system. Note the following when carrying out repairs on the bodywork:

Read the section "Safety and handling instructions" in group 8 “
Airbag
” before commencing.

For work where the body may be subjected to bumps or blows, unplug the connection for the airbag system control module.

When welding, remove and cover the battery negative lead.
|
|
| • |
The screw hole for the control module and grounding points must be masked during painting to protect the ground connection.
