Warning

It is extremely important that adequate local extraction is available when carrying out work that generates heat, e.g. welding, grinding, cutting and drilling.

Therefore, supplementary respiratory protection such as a respirator with carbon filter or, preferably, oxygen supply should be used.

All paints, sealants, adhesives and anti-corrosion agents emit dangerous substances when heated.


Joints in the body must be al-welded, unless otherwise stated. For best results, the sheet metal must be positioned edge-to-edge when the joint is welded. The best way to get an optimum fit between the spare part and the body, cut the sheet metal as follows:


• Cut the spare part so that it overlaps the intended joint line by approximately three centimetres.

• Cut away the damaged body part so that it overlaps the intended joint line by approximately three centimetres.

• Position the spare part and align it exactly by means of the aligning bench measuring system. Refit the undamaged bodywork that has been removed and check the fit of the spare part.

• Cut through both sheet metal plates at the intended joint line.
