Remove the rear bonnet seal.

Remove the wiper arms. Use
85 80 144 Puller, windscreen wiper arm

Remove the rubber seals and the screws holding the cover over the bulkhead partition space. Remove the cover by lifting it at the front and then pulling forwards to release the clips on the edge of the windscreen. Then lift it rearwards and remove it.

Remove the
headlamp
.

|
| 5. |
Raise the car.
|
|
| 6. |
Remove the wing liner.
|
|
| 7. |
Remove the insulation.
|
|
| 8. |
Remove the side direction indicator and unplug it.
|
|
| 9. |
Unscrew the top of the front wing.
|
|
| 10. |
Remove the nut holding the front wing to the A-pillar.
|
|
| 11. |
Unscrew the nut holding the scuff plate to the front wing.
|
|
| 12. |
Undo the screws at the A-pillar a few turns so that the wing can be pulled forwards.

|
| 13. |
Protect the bonnet and door with woven tape or the like.
|

Bend out the scuff plate and slide the front wing forwards. Remove the front wing.

| To fit |
| 1. |
When replacing the front wing, transfer the bumper shell's plastic holder and any promotion plate.
|
|
| 2. |
Slide in the lugs on the front wing behind the screws in the A-pillar while bending out the scuff plate.
|
|
| 3. |
Fit the screws in the front wing.
|
|
| 4. |
Tighten the nut in the scuff plate. Make sure that the front wing is aligned with the scuff plate.
|
|
| 5. |
Tighten the nut at the A-pillar.
|
|
| 6. |
Tighten the screws in the front wing.
|
|
| 7. |
Extract the connector for the side direction indicator and connect it. Fit the lamp in the front wing.
|
|
| 8. |
Place the sound baffle behind the front wing against the A-pillar.
|
|
| 9. |
Fit the wing liner.
|
|
| 10. |
Fit the
headlamp
.
|
|
| 11. |
Fit the cover over the bulkhead partition space by pressing on the clips under the windscreen and inserting it into the windscreen moulding on the A-pillar. Screw on the cover.

| 12. |
Fit the rubber seals for the wiper arms.
|
|
| 13. |
Fit the wiper arms and rear bonnet seal.
|
|
| 14. |
Check the parking position of the windscreen wipers.
