Open the bonnet and remove the grille.

Undo the screws in the cable stop and pull the wire out of its sleeve and the lock springs. Retain the cable stop.

Undo the screws on the clamp and unhook the wire from the clip.

Remove the windscreen wipers.
|
|
| 5. |
Remove the rubber seals from the wiper spindles.
|
|
| 6. |
Remove the rear bonnet seal.
|
|
| 7. |
Unscrew the cover over the bulkhead partition space. Remove the cover by raising the front and pulling it forwards to release the clips from the edge of the windscreen and then lifting it backwards.

Remove the lower panel section on the driver's side.
|
|
| 9. |
Remove the scuff plate and fold over the carpet.
|
|
| 10. |
Press in the catch on the back of the lever bracket and pull out the holder from behind.
|

Pull out the wire and lever into the cabin.

| To fit |

Insert the wire through the rubber grommet in the bulkhead.
|

| 2. |
Fit the lever and bracket by pushing it forwards.
|
|
| 3. |
Fold up the carpet and fit the clip, scuff plate and lower panel section.
|
|
| 4. |
Fit the cover over the bulkhead partition space.
|
|
| 5. |
Fit the rubber seals on the wiper spindles.
|
|
| 6. |
Fit the wiper arms and rear bonnet seal.
|
|
| 7. |
Position the wire correctly in the clip and insert it in the spring of one of the locks. Fit the cable stop.

| 8. |
Insert the wire into its sleeve and the spring of the second lock and fit the cable stop. Fit the clip and tighten the screw.

|
| 9. |
Ensure the spring is resting against the spring stop (Spring stop A) when at rest and there is play between the cable stop (Cable stop B) and the spring.

| 10. |
Adjust the bonnet and check its function.
