Preliminary Procedure

1.

Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
|
|

Place a receptacle under the engine to collect the oil and coolant.
|
|
5.
|
Undo the cable clip from the oil cooler.
|
|
6.
|
Unplug the connector of the oil pressure switch.
|
|
7.
|
Detach the coolant hoses from the oil cooler.
|
|
8.
|
Remove the oil filter cover (4) using EN-47641 oil filter spanner and remove the filter.

Procedures
|
1.
|
Carry out cooling system, pressure testing.
|
|
2.
|
Carry out filling and bleeding the cooling system.
|
|
3.
|
Fit the oil cooler using new seals greased with Vaseline.
|
|
4.
|
Check the oil level and top up if necessary.
|
|
5.
|
Start the engine and check that the oil cooler is not leaking.
|
|
6.
|
Carry out procedures after reconnecting the battery.
|
Tighten
25 Nm (18 lb ft)
