Oil Filter Adapter Removal (2.0L Diesel LBS, LBX, and LBY)

1.

Remove the engine oil cooler coolant outlet hose clamps (1, 2).
|
|
2.
|
Remove the engine oil cooler coolant outlet hose (3) and the snap lock (4).
|
|
3.
|
Remove the engine oil cooler coolant inlet hose clamps (1).
|
|
4.
|
Remove the engine oil cooler coolant inlet hose (2).
|
|
5.
|
Remove the oil filter adapter bolts (2) from engine block.
|
|
6.
|
Remove the oil filter adapter (1).
|
|
7.
|
Remove and discard the oil filter adapter gasket.
|
