Piston Oil Nozzle Cleaning and Inspection

Bodily injury may occur if the cleaning solvent is inhaled or exposed to the skin.

Clean the piston oil nozzle in cleaning solvent using or equivalent. Refer to
Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
.

Warning

Wear safety glasses when using compressed air in order to prevent eye injury.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Dry the piston oil nozzle with compressed air.
|
|
3.
|
Inspect the piston oil nozzle for the following:

Plugged oil passages (1)
|
|
|
•
|
Bent, misaligned or cracked oil nozzle tube (2)
|
|
|
•
|
Bent or broken clip (3)
|
