Timing Chain Idler Sprocket Installation - Left Side

Ensure that the timing chain idler sprocket bank 1 (1) is being installed. The recessed hub (3) and the larger sprocket of the timing chain idler sprocket bank 2 is installed outward. The raised hub and the smaller sprocket of the timing chain idler sprocket 2 is installed towards the block.

Install the timing chain idler sprocket (2).

Fastener Caution
.
Install the timing belt idler pulley bolt (1) and tighten to
58 Nm (43 lb ft)
