Remove the transfer case idler gear shaft (2) with the
slide hammer

DT-8792319 and
bearing puller
DT-599 in the direction of the arrow.

Remove the pinion gear (3) from the transfer case.

| 3. |
Remove the transfer case idler gear shaft front seal (1).
