| Removal Procedure |
| 1. |
Remove the timing belt. Refer to
Timing Belt Replacement (LLU/A16LET)

| 2. |
Remove the camshaft cover. Refer to
Camshaft Cover Replacement
.
|
|
| 3. |
Install the
EN-6628-A
fixing tool (1).
|
|
| 4. |
Install
EN-6625
flywheel holder (1) to engine block (2).
|
|
| 5. |
Remove the camshaft position actuator hub cover plug at the intake side (1).
|
|
| 6. |
Remove the camshaft intake sprocket fastener (1) and detach the camshaft intake sprocket (2).
|
|
| Installation Procedure |
| 1. |
Attach the camshaft intake sprocket (2) with the camshaft intake sprocket fastener (1) to the intake camshaft. Do not tighten yet.
|
|
| 2. |
Install the
EN-6340
locking tool.
|
|
| 3. |
Adjust the timing belt. Refer to
Timing Belt Adjustment (1.6L LLU)
.
|
|
| 4. |
Refer to
Fastener Caution
.
Install the camshaft intake sprocket fastener and tighten the fastener to 65 Nm (48 lb ft) + 125 degrees + 15 degrees. |
|
| 5. |
Install the camshaft position actuator hub cover plug at the intake side and tighten the fastener
30 Nm (22 lb ft)
.

| 6. |
Install the timing belt. Refer to
Timing Belt Replacement (LLU/A16LET)

|
|
| 7. |
Remove
EN-6625
flywheel holder,
EN-6628-A
fixing tool and
EN-6340
locking tool.
|
|
| 8. |
Install the camshaft cover. Refer to
Camshaft Cover Replacement
.
|
|
| 9. |
Install the timing belt front upper cover. Refer to
Timing Belt Upper Front Cover Replacement
.
