| Removal Procedure |
| 1. |
Remove the turbocharger. Refer to
Turbocharger Replacement
.

| 2. |
Remove the turbocharger coolant feed pipe. Refer to
Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Replacement (LAU/A28NER)
Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Replacement (LLU/A16LET)
Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Replacement (LHU/A20NFT)

| 3. |
Loosen the engine oil cooler outlet pipe from the water pump module. Refer to
Oil Pump Screen Replacement
.
|
|
| 4. |
Remove the engine oil cooler pipe. Refer to
Engine Oil Cooler Pipe Replacement (A28NER/LAU)

| 5. |
Remove the 5 fasteners (2) of the engine oil cooler housing (1).
|
|
| 6. |
Remove both gaskets of the engine oil cooler housing.
|
|
| 7. |
Remove the engine oil cooler inlet pipe (3) from the oil filter housing.
|
|
| 8. |
Remove the engine oil cooler outlet pipe from the oil filter housing. Refer to
Oil Pump Screen Replacement
.

|
| 9. |
Remove the 6 fasteners (3) from the engine oil cooler.
|
|
| 10. |
Remove the engine oil cooler (1).
|
|
| 11. |
Remove the engine oil cooler gasket (2).
|
|
| Installation Procedure |
Refer to Fastener Caution .
| 1. |
Clean the engine oil cooler to engine oil cooler housing sealing surfaces.
|
|
| 2. |
Install a NEW engine oil cooler gasket (2).
|
|
| 3. |
Install the engine oil cooler (1).
|
|
| 4. |
Install the 6 fasteners (3) to the engine oil cooler and tighten to
8 Nm (71 lb in)
.
|
|
| 5. |
Install the engine oil cooler outlet pipe with 2 NEW seal rings to the oil filter housing. Refer to
Oil Pump Screen Replacement
.
|
|
| 6. |
Install the engine oil cooler inlet pipe (3) with 2 NEW seal rings.
|
|
| 7. |
Install the engine oil cooler housing (1) with 2 NEW gaskets.
|
|
| 8. |
Install the 5 fasteners (2) of the engine oil cooler housing and tighten up to
25 Nm (19 lb ft)
.
|
|
| 9. |
Install the engine oil cooler pipe. Refer to
Engine Oil Cooler Pipe Replacement (A28NER/LAU)
Engine Oil Cooler Pipe Replacement (LLU/A16LET)

| 10. |
Install the engine oil cooler outlet pipe to the water pump module. Refer to
Oil Pump Screen Replacement
.
|
|
| 11. |
Install the turbocharger coolant feed pipe. Refer to
Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Replacement (LAU/A28NER)
Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Replacement (LLU/A16LET)
Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Replacement (LHU/A20NFT)

Install the turbocharger. Refer to
