Remover and Installer Ignition Coil
For equivalent regional tools, refer to
Special Tools
.

1.
|
Remove the engine wiring harness guide (1) from the cylinder head.
|
|
2.
|
Disconnect the ignition coil connector (2).
|
|
3.
|
|
Note
|
|
Note the arrow on the cover.
|
Remove the cover of the ignition coil in the direction of the arrow.
|
|
4.
|
Remove both ignition coil fasteners.
|
|
5.
|
Install the
EN-6009
remover/installer (1).
|
|
6.
|
Remove the ignition coil (2).
|
|
7.
|
Remove the
EN-6009
remover/installer (1).
|
|

Note
|
|
When installing a new ignition coil it is not necessary to replace the gaskets.
|
Install the
EN-6009
remover/installer (1).
|
|
2.
|
Install the ignition coil (1) and the NEW gaskets (2).
|
|

Fastener Caution
.

Note
|
|
Note the arrow on the cover.
|
Fit both ignition coil brackets and tighten to
8 Nm (71 lb in)
.

4.
|
Install the ignition coil cover.
|
|
5.
|
Connect the ignition coil connector (2).
|
|
6.
|
Install the engine wiring harness guide (1) at the cylinder head.
