Heated Oxygen Sensor
Warning
|
|
The exhaust temperature sensor and exhaust pressure differential sensor line fittings may be difficult to remove when the engine exhaust system temperature is below 48°C (120°F). Excessive force may damage the threads in the exhaust manifold or exhaust pipe.

Procedure

1.
|
Release the sensor electrical connector.
|
|
2.
|
Release the sensor cable from clips.
|
|
3.
|
Remove the heated oxygen sensor fastener using
EN-8396350
remover/installer.
|
|
Note
|
|
After replacement, activate HO2S Learn with diagnostic tool.
|
Tighten
45 Nm (33 lb ft)
