| Removal Procedure |
| 1. |
Remove the fuel tank filler pipe housing. Refer to
Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Replacement

| 2. |
Drain the fuel tank. Refer to
Fuel Tank Draining
.

|
| 3. |
Remove the propeller shaft. Refer to
Propeller Shaft Replacement
.
|
|
| 4. |
Remove the rear spring on right side. Refer to
Rear Spring Replacement (GNC)

| 5. |
Disconnect the fuel tank filler pipe quick connect fitting (1) from the chassis fuel feed pipe (2). Refer to
Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
.

|
| 6. |
Disconnect the fuel tank filler pipe retainer (3) from the chassis fuel pipe (4).
|
|
| 7. |
Disconnect the fuel tank filler door lock actuator wiring harness electrical connector (1).
|
|
| 8. |
Remove the both fuel tank filler pipe fasteners (2).
|
|
| Installation Procedure |
| 1. |
Refer to
Fastener Caution
.
Install both fuel tank filler pipe fasteners (2) and tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb in) .

| 2. |
Connect the fuel tank filler door lock actuator wiring harness electrical connector (1).
|
|
| 3. |
Connect the fuel tank filler pipe retainer (3) from the chassis fuel pipe (4) and tighten to
4 Nm (35 lb in)
.

| 4. |
Connect the fuel tank filler pipe quick connect fitting (1) from the chassis fuel feed pipe (2). Refer to
Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
.

| 5. |
Install the rear spring on right side. Refer to
Rear Spring Replacement (GNC)

| 6. |
Install the propeller shaft. Refer to
Propeller Shaft Replacement
|
|
| 7. |
Install the fuel tank filler pipe housing. Refer to
Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Replacement
