Preliminary Procedure
Remove both windshield wiper arm assemblies. Refer to
Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement
.

Plenum Water Deflector Retainer (Qty: 4)

Note

|
Lift the center of the push pin. Then remove the lower portion from the grille panel.
|
|

Plenum Water Deflector
Procedure
|
1.
|
Disconnect the hood rear weather-strip from the air inlet panel flange.
|
|
2.
|
Lift the front edge of the air inlet panel upward off the plenum edge far enough to clear the wiper motor pivot shafts.
|
|
3.
|
Disengage the washer hose from the bottom edge of the panel.
|
|
4.
|
Pull the grille forward to disengage the rear edge of the grille panel from the bottom of the windshield edge.
|
|
5.
|
Pull the air inlet grille panel from around both hood hinges.
|
|
6.
|
Angle the air inlet grille to clear the hood strut assembly.
|
