Circuit/System Verification

Ignition OFF, command the parking heater ON and OFF with the remote control. Verify the parking heater turns ON and OFF with no DTCs.

Component Testing

Dynamic Test

1. Ignition OFF, separate the K87 Parking Heater Control Module from the X150 Parking Heater Harness & Parking Heater Assembly Harness.

2. Ignition OFF, test for less than 5 Ω between the low reference circuit terminal and ground.

3. If greater than the specified range, replace the X150 Parking Heater Harness & Parking Heater Assembly Harness.

4. Connect a 8.2 V maximum regulated voltage supply between the 14 pin connector terminal 14 to the heater assembly and the heater control module terminal 13 to the heater assembly.

5. If the blower motor fan speed is less than 1 000 RPM, replace the M94 Parking Heater Blower Motor.

6. If the M94 Parking Heater Blower Motor tests normal, replace the K87 Parking Heater Control Module.
