When the radio, cassette player or CD changer is switched on, the information appears automatically on the SID unit display.
If a CHECK message is activated, the audio display will be replaced by the CHECK message at the same time as an acoustic signal sounds.
The SID unit also communicates with the Audio System for certain RDS features like setting of the digital and analogue clocks in SID unit 3.
