DTC P0713 TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT
DTC P0713 TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT |
DIAGNOSIS:
The input signal circuit of TCM to ATF temperature sensor is open or shorted.
TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
Excessive shift shock.
WIRING DIAGRAM:
CHECK HARNESS CONNECTOR BETWEEN TCM AND ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR.
Turn the ignition switch to OFF.Disconnect the connector from TCM.
Measure the resistance between TCM connector terminals.
Connector & terminal
(B55) No. 21 — No. 9:
Is the resistance more than 500 Ω?
Yes |
No |

CHECK ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR.
Measure the resistance between transmission connector terminals.Connector & terminal
(T4) No. 11 — No. 15:
Is the resistance more than 500 Ω?
Yes |
Even if the AT OIL TEMP warning light is blinking, the circuit has returned to normal condition at this time. A temporary short circuit of connector or harness may be the cause. Repair the harness or connector.
No |
CHECK TRANSMISSION HARNESS.
Lift-up the vehicle and place it on rigid racks.Drain the ATF.
Note | ||
Do not drain the ATF until it cools down. |
Remove the oil pan.
Disconnect the harness connector from control valve.
