Remove
Timing cover, A20NFT/LHU

Remove the oil pump bolts. Lift off the cover and take out the pinions.
|

Remove the oil pressure valve. Maintain a grip when unscrewing the plug so that it does not fall away.

| 4. |
Remove the spring and the piston.
|
|
| To fit |
| 1. |
Fit the oil pump pinions. The markings on the pinions must be turned to the timing cover.
Lubricate the pinions with engine oil. 
|
|
| 2. |
Fit the oil pump cover.
Tightening torque 25 Nm (18 lbf ft) 
|
|
| 3. |
Fit the oil pressure valve with the piston and the spring. Replace the gasket.
Tightening torque 40 Nm (29 lbf ft) 
|
|
| 4. |
