On-Board Diagnostics

Type of diagnosis:


- Continuous.


Enable criteria:


- Battery voltage should be 10.2 - 15.3 V.

- Vehicle speed has exceeded a speed of 49 km/h and been reduced to 0 km/h 3 times with a deceleration of 1.6 m/s² (somewhat heavy braking).


Fault criteria:


- Clutch signal has not been detected when the above enable criteria have been fulfilled 3 times.


Dependents:


- None.


System reaction to a fault:


- Cruise control not working.


OK report:


- Clutch signal has been detected 3 consecutive times when the above enable criteria have been fulfilled 3 times.

Diagnostic help

Fault diagnosis concerns an electrical fault in the connecting leads or in the switch.

Checking the wiring

Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short circuits. Observe the multimeter, diagnostic tool or test lamp during the check.
